Kelly & Tom married on September 17th. The wedding was held at the family home and had the 1950′s retro theme. It was one of our weddings where we shot some video for the Bride & Groom. They are both away at the moment enjoying their Honeymoon but we thought it would be nice to show some images from their day. The full online gallery will be ready once the couple have made their selections.

Clare and Adam married at Kilworth house in Leicestershire earlier this year, it was on the day before New years eve. After a month of hard weather from December until January, the snow had now decided to melt and create a cold mist throughout the grounds. Clare was keen to get a great deal of groups and we had set up outside, however the weather was not allowing this so we re arranged the house main reception rooms and proceeded to create some great shots.

Clare and Adam both photographed well and looked great as a couple. The singer who was there for the evening was good but when Adam stood up and crooned he was sensational. I think the singer was given a run for his money.

Ribby Hall is located up in Lancashire not too far from Blackpool, unfortunately just a little too far to take the Bride and Groom to. That would have been ideal as we could have used all of the classic and mixed contemporary style architecture and the Trams, Piers etc. never mind though Ribby hall offered some unusual locations one of which was the bowling green. We had to get permission as ladies with high heals were simply NOT ALLOWED. We did get around this and got special permission. The day started wet and windy but up on the Lancashire coast the weather can change very quickly and it did.

Offering originality is how we like to work with our clients, it is not just how we shoot our wedding photography but in how we post produce our images and albums. We are now creating bespoke layout design for our Brides to include in their coffee table albums. The art work is all created in house and then included in your album where ever possible. This is the first of many layout templates and designed pages for you to chose from. We have been inspired by the way the wedding pictures are processed and edited especially from some California Photographers where they seem to be open and relaxed in design and layout. They also tend to go for more of a custom hand made album. It is something we want to be able to offer, the downside is that they can be expensive but Eco friendly utilising all natural products and inks. The upside being that each one could be classes as a piece of art.

The couple decided to create their own wedding style and set their day around a retro feel. The garden was pretty substantial and so they opted for the marquee in the garden. This was dressed by the family with authentic signs and detailing with bunting and accessories. The table each had an authentic retro cup to drink from other authentic accessories were dotted throughout. Kelly had wanted to include a sweet shop selling the original confectionery. There was also outside a coconut shy for everyone to have a go and for me some of the best shots were wher i stood in between the coconuts whilst they threw the ball and I clicked away. I didn’t get hit by the ball but did get some great shots. Other traditional games were also included.

Changeable weather was evident throughout the day but we worked in and around the showers. When it rained it thundered and when the sun shone it was bright and strong. We also introduced our video service, Kelly & Tom opted for the one camera man with two cameras or her day. This will be edited and clips shown on the site

A fun day was had by all and it all concluded with a great live band. We arrived back in Shropshire quite late but happy that we managed to get some great shots.

Sonja & Noel married earlier this year at the former dwelling of Oliver Cromwell namely, Astley Hall in Chorley Lancashire.
The day started off wet and windy but soon changed to a warm and sunny day. The highlight of the day for the guests were the appearance of the Birds of Prey which was spectacular. We used a couple of the birds to create some great shots. As the Hall is a museum of sorts we were allowed to use the facilities and set up some rather unusual group shots with a harpsichord and a some great intimate moments between the Best Man and Groom.

Grouping people is often one of the trickiest set of pictures to take. The secret is to group in a way that helps people remember them for being fun and interesting.

How about a group of people that you require but setting them in a natural way, we like to make something of the location and combine a story in the group shots. Am interesting combination of fun, lighting,and a relaxed way of working makes for an interesting photograph. All of the people this gallery wanted to show their family groups in a different way and we were happy to oblige.

We have even taken some of the scene ideas from the film “High Society” the remake of Philadelphia Story and created an informal grouping to reflect the brides love of the film

Mitton Hall Clitheroe is a fabulous place. A whole selection of areas to shoot wedding pictures. The couple Megan and Chris had choreographed everything themselves being designers in their own business. This gallery is a small selection from their album. The whole day consisted of Doves, Horses Pianos amongst other items and it certainly made us work. We managed to create some great fashion or mood shots which is what they had asked for
